Adoption 
Process

At Las Vegas Golden Doodles, we understand that finding the perfect furry friend for your family is a big decision. Our goal is to make the adoption process as easy as possible for you and the puppies. Our team works hard to match you with your ideal pup based on your preferences, but we also urge you to consider the dog's personality when making your choice.We are confident that whichever dog you choose, it will be an exceptional one. 

 

Las Vegas Doodles reserves the right to hold back puppies from any litter to be part of our breeding program. Our name will be placed on the top of each reservation list, and if we decide not to keep one, then each person on the reservation list will be bumped up.

Place a $500 deposit.  

You can select the PayPal "Buy Now" button to make your deposit or make your deposit using Venmo @johnowalker, or Zelle 702-521-9314.

Please note that if you choose not to purchase a puppy from Las Vegas Doodles after having made the deposit and prior to selecting your puppy when they reach 4 weeks of age there will be a 20% cancellation fee.  Once you have chosen your puppy the $500 deposit is non-refundable.  If emergency circumstances arise that would prevent you from being able to get your puppy, you may also choose to transfer your deposit to a future litter rather than cancel your reservation.

Fill Out and Return Your Puppy Contract

Once you’ve paid the deposit, we will send you an e-mail with our Puppy Contract for you to complete and return. We will also communicate with you to make sure we have all of your contact information for our records.

Puppy Selection and Balance Due

When the puppies are between 4 and 5 weeks old, we will contact you to choose your puppy.  (This will be in the order that deposits were made.)  Payment in full is expected when you receive your puppy.  Final payments for the balance due are preferred in cash and not electronic payments.

Plan For Pick Up or Delivery

Make plans with us on how you would like to receive your puppy when they are 8 weeks old.  If you cannot receive your puppy when it is 8 weeks old, you can arrange to have us keep it a little longer if needed.  The cost to hold a puppy is $50 per week for each week past the age of 8 weeks.

 

Delivery Options:​

  1. You may pick up your puppy at our home in Las Vegas. If you choose this option, please reach out to us to arrange the date and time. 

  2. We deliver inside the Las Vegas valley for free, whether you live here or need to meet at the Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport, if you choose to fly in to pick up your puppy. Please reach out to us to set up a day and time. 

  3. You can pay for us to personally drive your puppy to your home. Please reach out for individual pricing. The cost for this service is typically $1.00 per mile one way from the Walker residence to your home or meeting place. If you choose this service, Las Vegas Doodles will set the date and time for the delivery. You will need to make yourself available or arrange to have someone meet with Las Vegas Doodles at the specified date, time and location.​

Prepare To Receive Your Puppy

Stay updated and prepare your home for your new arrival.

We recommend that you have the following items prior to your puppies arrival:

  • A kennel with a divider which will allow you to increase the available space for your puppy as it grows.

  • A collar, leash, and ID tag.

  • Puppy shampoo and brush. 

  • Puppy Food

  • Plenty of chew toys!

  • Bowls for food and water.

Puppy Arrival Day!!

Your Puppy Arrival Day is the start of a beautiful relationship with your Puppy. At 8 weeks, they are at the perfect age to start bonding with you and your family. You can choose to pick up your puppy or have it delivered to your home. Either way, your new family member will bring tons of love and happiness into your life!
